Anyone stayed up to watch it?

I never really watched that period either, just the odd match, I only really started watching during the close of the attitude era, well, around about the time Kane won the title. I just have a lot respect for the WCW and Bischoff and all they did for wrestling, especially the nWo. Never cared about ECW though.

I also stopped watching wrestling after the atitude era up to about mid last year due to the lack of SKY, so i've bveen catching up and buying dvd's like the WM boxsets 12-21 and the best rated PPVs as well.

You missed out on the boom period of Pro Wrestling, where both Raw and WCW Nitro were getting double the ratings that Raw currently gets. Ah well...

Ah right im with ya! I never saw WCW, i was always WWF and that was all...i think i missed out tho, what with no WCW and no ECW!

World War 3 is a former WCW PPV, but the WWE can use the name as they own the rights to WCW (Much like they haver done with The Great American Bash), the same applies to Starrcade and Bash At The Beach. I just prfer the names and I think the PPV schedule could do with a bit of mixing up.

Did you come up with World War 3 or is that an actual PPV?

I expect to see a few ppvs go. I think there should be 13 ppvs per year if they are being tri-branded, one a month and two in april:

Wrestlemania
Backlash
Bad Blood
Starrcade
Vengeance
Summerslam
Bash At The Beach
World War 3
Survivor Series
No Mercy

Thats my views on ppv's.

Cool...i prefer tri-branded...can have better cards :)

Yeah, and they've already dropped December to Dismember because that didn't really work and they don't need an ECW exclusive ppv.
