This is by far the best Zelda game.. its just appealed to me so much. It would be brilliabt if they actually made a 3d cellshaded version of it.

Link's Awakening is actually my favourite 2D zelda... it felt more homely for some reason... like I knew everywhere perfectly... Wind Waker despite its greatness only has the familiarity with Windfall island and Outset... the dungeons were too small and quick to remember as fondly as others...
Although I prefer the shorter, faster dungeons.

Yep, have to agree Links' Awakening is the best Zelda I've played (and so far thats out of OoT, Wind Waker, Links Awakening, Oracle of Seasons and Majora's Mask.) I even bought the DX version too when I got my GBA. Must have completed it at least 30 times. It was one of the first Gameboy games I've got and I think it's what turned me defiantly Ninty.

Link's Awakening was ok for the 'Majora's Mask' of A Link to the Past - And I personally rate it as the best handheld exclusive Zelda game to date.
