It's very amaturishly written, but he seemed to have a blast with the game. Anybody else got their hands on this game early? What'd you think of it?

Does that mean you can play with them throughout the main game? Surely not as at the beginning you get the selection screen for the 2 characters and the Cut-Scenes co-incide with the character that you have chosen. It would be awesome to play as NEO in his trench coat but if its a cheat it will be a weak attempt at making him a playable character. Don't cheat and see what happens when you complete the game with both characters?!

i got it for £35 from HMV. can anyone help me out here? when hacking the matrix (cheating etc) you can be Trinity, Morpeous and The One (Neo). for Neo it looks like this on the screen:

I am pining for a copy of Enter the Matrix as only hours after taking the rental back I am dying to get my hands on a copy so that I can start again and go through it :) To me that is the sign of a game which is worth the admission price and in-between my GCSE's a game like Zelda is not the cleverst of options. However with Enter the Matrix it is good for both short and long blasts of play.

Wonderswan, you remind me of a guy in my class in school. He immediatly dislikes popular things for the simple fact that they're popular.

As such he hates all radio music and things like the matrix, and likes obsure bands which no ones ever heard of, for the fact that no-ones ever head of 'em.

I played this yesterday on a friends PS2 and was quite impressed, it was better than I expected. Fans of the film will enjoy it more than others obviously as you can do loads of matrix moves with ease. Fighting was good but I didn't know and moves and just button bashed, and the Max Payne style gun fights were cool.

One thing though- the driving sections are crap. Really very dull and doesn't fit in well with the rest of the polished action. I'm still unsure of weather to buy it as there are may other games I want such as PDO, Tony Hawks 4 and RTCW.

2G2, clearly you've been wrongfully clouded from watching The Matrix. you't can't shoot agents. simple as. but it's really cool watching them dodge bullets! :-D

yeah it does get harder. i found that out a while ago when i was supprounded by Smiths

Have you had a fight with an agent yet? I was a bit dissapointed
couldnt shoot him at all but was kicking punching an throwing him
around for ages then got bored! Hope they get harder later in the game!!

Its going to be my next purchase as I have taken the rental back this morning. I am yet to get Zelda, Panzer Dragoon and Resident Evil Zero but I really want this game and I will get it next.
