The "General Games Chat" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
On Tuesday, we changed the server running UKchatforums.com over to a new machine, and as such, have experienced problems. Symptoms include users not being able to log on, and occasional shutdowns. However, the problems are being fixed, but may take some time, so please bear with us.
Due to DNS routing, the problem some users have in logging on to UKchatforums.com may not be fixed for another 24 hours or so (although it's worth it to keep trying, the time will vary depending on where abouts you are in the country). Seeing as both the new and old UKchatforums.com servers are still running, some of you may still be using the old server, called 'vic20'. If you are trying to access a UKchatforums.com page with 'vic20.reserve.co.uk/discussions.' in the URL, then try changing it to 'UKchatforums.reserve.co.uk' - this may work, but like I said, we're still in the process of fixing the problems.
If you still cannot access any UKchatforums.com pages, then just sit tight - it'll be fixed soon. We apologise in this disruption to your chatting, but hey - we hate it as much as you do. Thanks for being patient - the Special Reserve Team.

We've added RIR - that's Radical Intelligent Rejuvination - to enhance the conversations, and oh yeah, it's not in our building any more so we are in trouble if it crashes.
But mostly we have booted it out for upsetting the other servers as we don't want them to go on strike.
TRUE - it was hogging the bandwidth.
I hope Turbo isn't still talking to himself.
Apologies to all those who words flew into the ABYSS. (Tut tut ;) )
