Similar to last year, we are now about to enter another drought satge for the Gamecube. Take yourselves back a year and remember what happen. We were given SSBM, Pikmin and a few more games and after mid June it all went incredibly dull. Nothing till early September!

Now it's the present and we find out the likes of Mario Kart and F Zero aren't out till Novemberish! The earliest decent game looks to be Soul Calibur 2, however it's onl;y been penciled for Autumn. I know it sounds childish but I thought this wasn't going to happen again. Mario Golf out in July for America while we get it next year! What's going on? Any thoughts, release dates or updates post it here.

I am torn between importing and Edgy's idea of using the time to pile up money.

Bah. Take away the only good thing about getting the PS2 why don't you.
Oh well. I can always use it as a coaster to keep the coffee rings off my table...

There are heavy... very heavy... rumours that say F Zero x maybe bundled with it aka Wind Waker as Nintendo desire to really push the F Zero series as part of Nintendo's new image.

IGN said it was "too fast" and looking at the video's I'd have to agree with them... must be a unique way of playing at such a startling speed with stunning graphics.

Ohhhh tough choice... there are a lot of decent racers to come mind...

F Zero looks jaw dropping and Mario Kart... like Mario Kart.

Duck, I got Vice City for the PC off my brother today, it's awful!

The start is so long and boring.

The cars have no speedometer, I drove full speed through a red light, past a police car in the wrong lane, and the police did absolutely nothing.

Cars pop up 10 metres in front of you.

There's only ever about 5 pedestrians around at one time.

I hit someone in the street and they just carried on like nothing happened, didn't run or anything. Same when I shot somebody.

The fighting and shooting is slugish and the animations aren't very well done.

I drove a motorbike full speed around, and after numerous hea don collisions, I hadn't taken any damage.

And I even got bored of the mindless violence in just a few minutes.

And finally, not matter how many cars I destroyed or how many people I shot, the police never got onto me, not even once.

Get GTA3 if you want, but seriously avoid Vice City, it's just terrible.
