you get a order form with the Sr magazine, fill that in saying which freebie you want (usually the gifts you get when you begin your membership)
then slip the 5 reddies into an envelope with the order form, you have to write "free gift" on the order form.

Can you use reddies even if you don't go to the shop. I want to get the remote control car but can't be bothered/don't have the time to take them to down to the shop.

You don't have to send reddies of with an order, if thats what it says in the Mag, then its a mis-print.
You can send your 5 Reddies off on their own to clam your free Gift, you don't need to order something at the same time.
