As members of the "We love Tarrant" cult will already know. My genius mind has AGAIN been rewarded with the gift of a free game. However, insanely brilliant though I am - I suck when it comes to decision making, so...... over to you guys :-)

I already have GT3 and GTA3 so no suggestions for those please (except maybe GTA3, I hardly see a downside to owning that sucka twice). Also got THPS3 on order.

I'm thinking perhaps;

Max Payne
SSx Tricky
Devil May Cry

or something such...

suggestions? Reasons?

Ta!

hmmm...not sure...i haven't replayed it but that's cos i was using a friends computer...and i think he was a bit annoyed that i kept on using his computer to play max payne....

i think a second go through the game is a definite yes....

the bullet time is just so cool though

there are loads of extras as well....

new york minute (only get a certain amount of time to get through level)

2 other difficulties and if you get through both in one piece then you open up a secret level (hard as nuts i;ve heard though and it is ALL in bullet time -trust me you'll need it if you know what happens)

On the PC, Max Payne rocks.
Not sure about the replay value though.

Victorious Boxers on PS2 is top.
Excellent punchy-punchy action and your character is called Ipo.
Great fun if you like punching japanese men in the face.

Music Generator 2:MTV
Awesome, awesome title.
Infinite replay value, and I have created a 70s flavoured, wah-wah slice 'o funk.

Beanz my good man, in your opinion is Max Payne good enough to warrant many a re-play? Like, sa, Metal Gear was - you can do it in 12 hours or less, but its so good you'll want to do it again?

max payne is a third person but plays JUST like a first person..
i've completed it on the pc and it's BRILLIANT....
a few annoying bits (you'll know what i mean if you get it or have it) where you have to jump everywhere....
very linear (but i ain't got problem with that)
but what makes this so good is

BULLET TIME
humour (lots of great lines)
atmosphere
style....

get it!!

Me? I wrote "If gaming..... could kill" in FOG Prime. It got mixed reviews, however my fan club took it as yet another astounding article and wept tears of joy as they added it to "the best of Tarrant" volume 1.

Its a TSP I think, and an uber stylish one at that, plus its going through the whole conversion thingy so it plays as smooth as a shaven monkey on they PS2 pad.

But still, I'll hold out for reviews and/ or more info.

...like the official release date of Devil May Cry! Is it actually out on 30th Nov, or has it been pushed back?

Anyone?

Personally I had five games on my must have list

1. GTA3 (Got it - love it)
2. Pro Evo Soccer
3. Smackdown 3 (But may not as I was not too impressed with demo I bought from EB)
4. SSX Tricky (Was going to buy the original last month but whats the point with the new one coming out)
5. Agent Under Fire (As previous postings state I`m a sad lad who digs old JB)

I am also a big John Woo fan but am sceptical about fps on consoles - If this turns out to be the dogs danglies I might have to buy a keyboard and mouse for the PS2 assuming they are supported
