(For those who don't maybe someone will explain it to you...)
Sail around between Windfall Island and the Mother and Child Islands and you'll find an island with a big blue and white dome-shaped thing on it.
Maybe I missed something, but there didn't seem to be anything to 'do' as such on that island.
I know at the end of LA the island disappeared, but on the other hand, all the islands in Wind Waker were mountain tops in the Hyrule times (around which LA was set), the Wind Fish's Egg was at the top of a mountain, and would have looked not dissimilar to that kind of egg-shaped thing.
How much would it rule to put the egg into tWW? I'll tell you - it'd rule a lot.
I don't have my old LA cart (or gameboy) nearby these days, but if anyone does, someone has to go check the Balard of the Wind Fish (opened the egg in LA), and try to conduct it in front of the egg with the wind waker.
You just have to try...
*Hopes this isn't the time I find out that it had some significance in a side quest I missed where all was explained*
How much would that rule?
But for mountain-tops, they aren't very 'pointy', are they...
And when the King tells you about "the truth", I was really hoping for some toon-rendered flash-backs of Ocarina of Time....
But Nintendo are obviously too-cheap for that!
Just like they were for collecting that third pearl-thing - blast-open the cave to speak to a big fish who'll just GIVE it to you!
That'll do! If we keep the dungeon in there, we'll never have this game released in time for the GameCube's one-year anniversary!!
