I agree. I'm indifferent to the whole notable thing and usually vote for the person who I find the least annoying (apart from last time when I was happy to vote IB). IB doesn't hang around here much, as the forums are drowning under a scummy layer of bilge and detritus. I think his departure says it all really.

He has a point.

Think of how many folk in the past have voted for a friend or a "sony" or "nintendo" notable.

I recon you're right, really, either existing notables need to be demoted back to regular status and a new notable elected or maybe space out the elections furter more, or something.

That's a terrible suggestion before I get to cast my first ever vote. There should be at least one more election.
