I've never won a GAD after being here for 3 years! How weird after all my posts.

My brother's is today.
I bought him a cd on amazon, and, thinking I was being nice, threw the remote.
Hit him on the shoulder, oh dear.

Happy birthday. It was mine on Saturday. 23 now, I feel so old.

Should, but they don't. And it's not that hard to make a good short-ish post: just look at all the good short stories that never win.

Totally is. There's a seriously marked difference between the amount of rather long posts that have won compared to short ones.

I was going to ask you that, but then realised you had written some quite long stuff. (not that length is important in winning GADs).

Guess I've been lucky, but I never take it for granted that I'll win another.
