"Mgs 2 out very soon in the uk"

metal gear solid 2 is coming out in the uk very soon, i know for definate that it will be a good selling game, but i fear that it has been over hyped and may not be as good as some people may expect it to be. also i think konami have relised too much info on the game like most of the bosses and special secrets. does anybody have a date when it will be out in the uk?

Roll on Febuary would be excellent timing if it came out then seeing as my birthdays in Febuary and i would have some money to buy it :0)

Official PS2 mag gives February 2002 for a UK release.

My Konami insider has last week played the completed version so it's quite possible that we're looking at VERY early next year - possibly even January but only time will tell.....

It's going to be a superb game, no amount of screenshots and tips will take that away. Only playing it will reveal just how good (or bad) it is.

They've got to put into European lingos aswell (French, German, Spanish, etc)

It'll be out in February at the earliest guys :-(

I dont see why it takes that long, i mean there is no language change.

has anyone actually got a comfirmed date not the month. cos i read the game is finished and to convert to PAL only takes a month.

MGS2 is gone kick bottom because

1)Kojima claims it will "exceed what anyone expected"
2)he also stated it will crush all rip offs and inflenced games
3)it's made by Hideo Kojima
4)There won't be a sequel so they'll put everything they can into the game.
5)it's metal gear solid 2
6)the demo already kicks bottom
7)The graphics,sound and enviroment are astonishing
8)Snake's got a new tranqueliser pistol
9)its metal gear solid 2
10)it pushes the PS2 hardware
11)it's metal gear solid 2

not according to hideo kojima he said conversion had already started so expect january/ february latest
