I'm getting an Xbox and the future line-up looks really good. Though I can't imagine for a minute how you've found 23 games that are worth buying and are available now.

I think Xbox improves upon games which are also on ps2, timesplitters 2 is a good example of this and burnout 2. Also improved was MGS2 which you mentioned

as for exclusives:

Unreal
Quantum Redshift
Buffy
Halo
Project Gotham
Mech Assault

2 of which are online exclusives, and PGR2 will be online too

Xbox IS the console for FPS games.

I have a GC aswell. I own 10 games for GC and 23 for xbox.

I found PGR kind of crap. Nice that it tried some new stuff, but it didn't do it very well though. GT bores me. Now burnout, there's a driving game...

Huh? Sure there's a lot of cute games on the system, but simple? Mario Sunshine, Zelda and Resident Evil are all massive and complex adventures that are anything but simple. Metroid Prime simple?

When criticising a game the critic always picks out the worst games avaiable and never really looks at the flag ship titles. The Gamecube is a much more grown-up platform than the N64 and I'm sure we'll be seeing more adult games like Resident Evil, soon.
