'a single value (as a mean, mode, or median) that summarizes or represents the general significance of a set of unequal values '
In terms you may likely understand better, It means to most often.
Why, oh why do magazines insist that their average mark is a '6' then?
When I read publications such as NGC and NOM, when I see a '6', my mind always jumps straight to the thought that it is a crap game. Why? Because all the other games are getting 9's.
A 9 for me means that the game is almost perfect, oor is as close to perfection as can possibly be, and 10 shouldn't be an option - Unless it is perfect in every sense of the word and appeals to every age group with never-ending life-span it isn't perfect is it? There will always be a downside.
When i see a review I want to see what it is actually like out of ten, not how much the magazine has been paid to give it great marks or how much hype its had.
The point of this post? there was none.
