The first was to work for some games company working on Middleware technology for massive multiplayer online thing. Don't think I'll be able to do that though, cos I've never done any network programming, so a bit beyond me at the moment.
The other is the possibility of lecturing/teaching some of the courses they do at our Uni over there. That is what was sounding more interesting to me. Still unsure on that though. I only got a 2.2 for my degree, so not sure how well that stands me in good stead to teach it. I believe I have improved since when I did it, but still...
This one isn't likely to happen till possibly the summer, I think. So if I manage to get some sort of job, I could spend my free time going over all the stuff I didn't do too well on, and do it again I guess.
> STILL no pay? Isn't that against work rules or something?
Probably. But it's still due to the funding situation still not being sorted out. So once the criminals hand back the money, I'll be able to be paid.
But I can't afford to wait round anymore, so have been applying for jobs all over.
Times like this I wish I could drive. Something I was planning to do at the start of this year, with the money I should have been paid already!!!
Grrr, life sucks at times.
Hopefully it will have a positive turn around soon.

I hope so. I've recently come to realise how important and useful it is to talk to random people. You never know who you're going to meet, and how they might be able to help you when no-one else can.

Plenty of Singaporian businessmen that need relaxation.

What sort of opportunities?

STILL no pay? Isn't that against work rules or something?
Anyone know if its gonna be reduced...
As long as you're not going over to be offered a dodgy job as one of those dodgy foreign people who randomly ring you up at tea time trying to sell you stuff you don't want, or the ones on the end of the line when you're after a company to find out where the fook your money's gone... :D
Money, friends, familly - perhaps the three most important considerations.
Best of luck with your choice. And even if this one doesn't go through, at your young age, there are bound to be many more that pass your way in future life. ;)
You see, that's what I have recently become to believe life is, put as simply as it can be - a number of choices that can come your way at any time and you must choose what to do and when in order to shape the future outcome of your life as you will know it.
Some very interesting job opportunities being offered to me!
Beats sitting on my @rse here all day programming for some job I'm not getting paid for.
Need to go research the place, and give this some serious thought!

Yeah ours spread them all across the year, ie Jan and June. Works nicely.
