When have the Aussies ever been worried? Yet again England have perished. A decent score on the first day of the second test (294/4) and then they buckled and are all out for something like 342 all out the next day. That's 47 for 7! Shocking business. Face it, we're simple not good enough.

Myself, I don't really care - it's all about football so chuck some snags on the barbie and get the VB's in!

Not me. Not yet anyway. I just got Timesplitters 2 today so I can wave goodbye to any social life I might have had...

Anyway, I've heard that it's a fairly simple game garnished with excellent sounds and graphics. As an old mate sagely quote, "Graphics do not a gameth make but there be no more pleasure than pretty pictures - harken to the days of Dragons Lair!"
Ok an old mate didn't say that (I just made up that stinking quote on the spot!) but I tend to make informed decisions when I buy a game; mainly read a few reviews of it in reputable magazines and then playtest the game before purchasing or alternatively rent it out and then decided whether it warrants a purchase or not. As far as I can see, although it'll no doubt sell by the bucketloads, Star Fox Adventures doesn't appeal to me especially after noticing good mags like Edge awarded it with an rather average rating. Therefore, I'll wait until I rent it out and probably save my hard earned cash for Metroid Prime or Zelda.

Cricket?? BAH! That's for old men and grandads!
Football's the sport over-here, "mayte"!

StarFox Adventures may've come today, but I'm still waiting for my other 2 games by Rare: Jet Force Gemini and Diddy Kong Racing.
I'm gunna e-mail the bloke in a minute to see is he's got my cheque or not.
And can find out if he has or not once it's cleared by just checking my account details. But I don't think he'd do that... Would he??

StarFox is a great game, by the way. I love it already, and can't see why NGC critisised it so-much. Maybe I need to play it more?

Who else got their copy today?
