Heh Heh! That made me laugh!

I think my dad suffer from technophobia or something. I had to explain to him about ten times before he could even operate the microwave!

"No, dad! No metal objects! How many times had I told you?"

Heh. My dad can use a Mobile Phone though.
Only problem is that he cannot hear it!
He has to turn the volume-up as-loud-as it will go, just so he MIGHT be able to hear it when it rings!

It's really annoying when he gets a message...
You know what the standard Nokia phone Message Alert sounds-like...
Each one of those hits you straight in the heard like a bullet or something! OUCH!

I rented it out and it's pretty good - you can now score some demonisitic goals due to the "auto-cross" function which is a god-send. Passing is much better as well - I smashed in a scissorkick volley with Van Nistlerooy last night, leaving my opponent in a state of awe at the God-like strike! His shambolic defence soon collapsed and I ran riot!

Incidentally, my greatest hour came on FIFA 2002 when I beat my mate 12-0 using Switzerland against Greece! He refuses to play me now even though he's pretty good and we nearly always have close games!

Shocking lack of technical expertise displayed by your dad! I hope you made him see the error of his ways?
My dad's even worse - he has trouble operating a mobile phone! I'm not sure I'd let him loose near a computer - chaos and carnage will conquer!

Phoned-up one of SR's rival companys yesterday (sorry!), and managed to find that I could save myself £12 off of FIFA 2003 by trading-in ISS 2 against-it. That was the best price I could find, and I tried a lot of on-line places - some must have been joking!
So that's been posted today, and it should hopefully arrive sometime early next-week. :)

My dad's an idiot...! He downloaded this new update for BT Openworld that apparently makes it run-faster, but couldn't get the connection last very long. It would connect and everything, but afer checking your mail in Outlook Express it would dis-connect you! He messed everything up by trying to fix it, and wouldn't let anyone else near it! He's stubborn like that... Thinks he knows it all when he still uses Windows 3.11 at work!!

I finally got the chance to have a look after nearly 2 hours, and had to download the update all-over-again. I had a look at the settings in Outlook Express, and the 'hang-up after sending and recieving' box was ticked.... It was really THAT damn simple!! I couldn't believe it!!

I'm never letting my dad near out PC again.... :S

Na na na
Another one bites the dust...

Yep, thanks to a big fluke on my last yellow i won in pool again. And thanks to inevitability of fate the team lost 4-3 AGAIN. 6 games, 4 at 4-3, 2 at 5-2 losses. Just got back from a lock-in longer than when Houdini got amnesia :^)
One more game til we're half way through the season. If i win, i can salvage W3, L4. If the team wins we get W1, L6...

Have to try to sort out the basketball refs too. No easy task given that it's the game day...

And i have 2 essays on the go and a friend coming for the weekend...

Busy, busy. Never mind...

Eternal Darkness kicks buttocks. I've got pretty far on it (if it takes the alleged 15 hours to complete I'm a little over half way...) and it is freaky... any game that can scare you when you're just wandering around an area where you KNOW there are no enemies has got to be doing something right... and the bath tub... made me jump like... a jumping thing. It rules.
