The main time for big releases is Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving (october/november time) in America, and almost the same over here, except it is September/October. This means that big games will be released in one of these time periods. Look at Zelda OOT, Goldeneye, Mario Sunshine and any number of other big releases.
Who remembers the wait for Perfect dark...That took ages i remember...
