I had mocks in December, but my Dad wants me to start revising when I go back! :|
Still... it'll be worth it in the ned. I'm not afriad of GCSE's, it's just they're, well, tests.
:D
Cheers :)

I go back Tuesday I think... I was hoping for Wednesday (got AS-level ICT coursework to do that I've done practically none of so far) but alas, it looks like Tuesday.
Anyhoo. GCSEs aren't so bad. Surely you're not worried about the exams already? You don't take them till the Summer right? Or have you got some kind of mocks...? Well, whatever it is, good luck with it and with school in general... because school sucks.

I go back on Monday and I still haven't started any homework.

Couldn't be better, well, apart from the fact that I have GCSE's looming over my head, but still.
I go back monday *sigh* how about you guys?

I'm glad I don't have any exams! Just 5 ICAs to do. And the only thing I have to do now is a 2000 word report on the design and analysis of this physics in Cricket thing, by this wednesday. Shouldn't be too hard to get done!

I know the feeling. I've never taken any time out and feel like I could really do with a break. Specially now, when people keep asking if your looking into jobs n stuff now. I mean ARRRRR! I've just sat through 18 odd years of education without taking my five minutes peace, I'd like to consider doing something less taxing and fun for a change, before settling down to my 9 to 5! Or 9 to unworldly time of night, as most game programmers have to face! Dunno what I want to do with myself at the moment. Just try n finish this last-final-woo-year of education; get my degree; then think about what to do with myself!

heh, not a bad price, but yer, who really wants that game!?!
:)
This uni thing isn't fun anymore. Exams to revise for. I guess i should be used to it by now, but it still feels like banging my head against a wall of stuff i'll never really know...
Actually if i can just hold my concentration for a few more weeks i think i can do pretty well this time round.
Ah well, i've decided next year i'm going to work for a bit then take myself to newzealand, try to get a job there...

Kind of. It's for my Games Physics module.
Here's our brief;
Computer games are increasingly using physics based simulations to add realism to a game. The assignment is therefore to write a small physics engine in C or C++ using OpenGL or DirectX API.
It should simulate some physical aspect of a computer game. You are not expected to write a complete game!
The choice of simulation is up to you.
So I'm doing Cricket. Think I'm gonna turn it into a full game after I finished the module. Cos all I'm really concentrating on for the ICA is the bowling aspect. Ball reacting to different levels of speed n spin, and bouncing off the ground n bat. Should be quite fun this module.
How was your xmas and new years mate? I went boarding again just before xmas which was wicked. Then went down to Cardiff to spend xmas at my brothers. Now back up north again, cos being here with me lass is far more interesting than staying back home alone.
:)
