[Captain's Log: 10/03/04 - Day of the Edit Post Feature]
[Diary Entry: 7/7/05 - "We shall never forget"]
I remember taking my Cycling Profficiency (have no idea if that's spelt right!?) about 7/8 years ago when it was snowing so badly that we were virtually in a blizzard! I can't believe that they still went ahead with it all, and only four of us passed I think - one of them was VERY lucky.
I didn't, however, and I blame the snow for it all!
I had the chance to do it again a year later, but I decided not to for some reason I cannot remember...?
Maybe I shouldn't be cycling around to places? Maybe I should??
All I know is that I haven't been foolishly hit by a car yet! :P
Perhaps it doesn't really help you see out or sommin'! pfft, dunno
:)
He also said his instructor was alright when he was learning 2 years ago, and that he'd get me some details on how to contact him.
But apparently, during his test he lost points for turning on the rear windscreen wiper when it was chucking it down with rain and he couldn't see...! Beats me!?
And yer, ice can be quite annoying. Don't think my girlfriend likes it much either. Specially after she slipped on it the other night and fell in this huge puddle! doh!
:)
Haven't you go Mario SunShine yet?? Get that, then!
Tony Hawk's 4 could probably wait a while, and it's on-sale eveyrwhere else for something like £25 anyway this month.
I bloody hate the ice!
I was cycling up this hill to work on Sunday when I noticed this amazing stream that was flowing right across the road, apparently from some well that had over-flowed somewhere higher-up.
I decided not to cycle through the water, as I knew it'd only get caught-up in my wheels and flung-about all-over-me like it did the Sunday before. So I got-off and walked through. I ran infact, so that my feet didn't get too-wet. And then I slipped and *!!!THUDD!!!* as I smacked the ground with my left elbow and right knee. God, that hurt! I even thought I may have fractured my elbow untill the pain started to fade-away this morning.
And so I limped along on my bike the rest of the way. But it was OK after a while of doing sod all.
I also had a great dream last-night that really set me straight about something that's been bothering me for the last... 17 days. I now know which of the two is the one for me, and as soon as she breaks-up with her current boyfriend, I'm in there!
In the meantime though, I'm gonna start learning to drive very-soon.
After the advice of someone at work, I'll be doing one 2 hour lesson a week at £30-a-time untill I've learnt to drive.
Now all I need is my Provisional Liscense (which I should be sending-off for today or tommorow), and an Instructor that doesn't charge £23-an-hour like he did to a mate of mine who recently passed.
I also intend to get a cheap, used car over the Summer that'll cost me near-to-nothing, while I'll also be able to afford it through Summer work.
In a way it's kind of lame to have been unable to get one while trying, then land one without thinking about it. But I'm not complaining.
:^)
THPS4 or Mario...
And aliens stole my hair today. Becuase it was taking on a life of its own.
And I've done... no work on my ICT coursework that's due in Wednesday or Friday... not sure which...
But on the plus side I have done my physics and maths. Well, most of it.
In conclusion. School will suck balls tomorrow. And by the end of the week it will feel like I haven't even had a holiday. As usual.
