It must be. N64 games released at £50. Cube games release at no more than £40 (okay, Resi was £45 in places, but that was the double disk I think...) and quite often £35.
I think the players choice will be £25 absolute max, and probably (hopefully) £20.

I have done this. My TV has no SCART socket, but my VCR does. So I hooked up my VCR to the TV, tuned the VCR to a spare channel on the TV, and then plugged in my Cube to the SCART socket in the back of the VCR. Then simply selected the VCR channel and turned on the Cube. The Cube should work on the same channel as your VCR, since the VCR is sending the Cube signal to the TV... Well, that's what I found anyway. Oh, and btw my VCR has the 'proper' SCART socket (the rectangular box sized one with lots of little pin holes) and the three cable sockets with a white, yellow and red hole for the white, yellow and red cables. Plugging my Cube lead into either of these works on my TV (You plug the yellow, white & red leads into the SCART plug anyway) so if you have both in your VCR try both of them and see if the other works. Also, ensure the plug into your Cube is plugged into the Digital Out plug, not the Analogue Out.
If all else fails, use your old N64 lead in the analogue out signal and one of those signal switches to change back between the aerial and the Cube. I did this before I realised I could use the VCR to route the signal through, and although using the VCR won't give as good a signal as using a TV with SCART, it's better than analogue. With analogue I was getting these funny diagonal lines coming down the screen. You got used to them, but they could be a bit of an irritance (especially in darker games such as Resi Evil and Eternal Darkness).
Well, hope that all helps.

Agreed
The main game sucks in comparison with the mini-games. Although it's all good.
