Hey, something else that happened on saturday that I forgot to write about.

I'm humping grapes around my supermarket (I own it now), and this tiny kid looks at me and shouts 'dada'.

I look around, and there's no sign of a bloke, just his mum.
He does is again, 'dada'.
I look at the mum, she doesn't seem to care, she's absorbed in looking at some oranges or something. So I ignore the kid again.

Then it does it agains, only with a bit more urgency, 'DADA', looking straight at me.
I'm pretty freaked out, the mum doesn't seem phased, and I'm looking at her thinking 'I'm sure I'd remember...'

So I quickly finished with the grapes and made a swift exit, before anyone tried to claim child support payments. All the while this kid was shouting after me, in a confused voice, 'DADA...'

I wonder whether I've emotionally scarred him for life.

03.29am - just got in, and have come online for to send an email before bed. Thank the lord for bank holidays :D
