Yep, the best way to get into the gaming business is to start off as a tester.

A gimp by the looks of it.

And Cooky good luck. I think level design would probably be the most exciting part personally. Coming from someone who has in the past spent way too much time tinkering with WorldCraft to create a fully playable Team Fortress Classic map and numerous 'work in progress' Half-Life maps... :D
But when you can't get something to work that should... you want to turn into hulk and SMASH
