[Diary Entry: 7/7/05 - "We shall never forget"]
Our Sixth Form induction is in October :D
That's assuming they let me in of course.
Now, time for planning...
Shouldn't be too-hard a task for you then, with them already half-way-there! :)
Who knows what the induction week will be like (though, I have a pretty good idea) but one thing's for sure, I'm going to make it hell for the teachers. That'll teach them for making me spend a week of my summer in school...
And there I've been missing days-after-days of Sixth Form, ever since we returned from the Christmas Holidays.
But the only reason I've been getting away with it is because the cow who moaned at me about it before is on maternity leave, and there's some more 'understand', rediculously-nice person in her place.
None of the other Sixth Form staff members know me that well, and my tutor's just... dopey!
I'm lucky! :D
Hang on, I'm 6' 3". Bagger. :D
I hate my school.
Yeah, bring SARS my way. I went to China in October, if only it had been April instead...
:D
You have to go in for one-whole-WEEK?!?!?
I only had to do one-day! ....Even though I didn't go!
And new students still only had to do 2!
I think I'd rather have that SARS disease than have to waste an entire life of my week in school! Now there's an idea....
Ever been to the Middle East, Chipseh?! ;D
But surely you can just miss a day-or-two, without anyone minding too-much?
You know the school, you know your peers and Teachers, yet they make you go in for a week? Damn them.
And speaking of subjects, Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Geography- boy what a great two years I'm going to have.
*sigh*
:D
Sixth Form's bad enough, but that....
I never went to my Sixth Form induction day, and still got in! :)
However, I'd avise you go - just to stay in their good-books.
I got a letter in the post a few days later saying something like '...because you son didn't bother coming in for our crappy little welcome-to-the-school-you-already-know day, we understand this means he doesn't want to join our Sixth Form, after all. Or am I wrong?...'
So I wrote a letter back to him; he phoned me up at about 8am a few days later; and I told him all about how it was all a big "mistake", and that I'd gotten my days mixed-up.
....Gullible!! :)
I was actually working in a warehouse for that day, anyway. And I'd rather be getting payed, instead of getting bored.
The worst thing about it is that they hold it right in the middle of the Summer, AFTER you've done your Exams, and you don't want to have to see your school again untill you REALLY have to!
Just make sure you take plenty of A-levels, to avoide boredom, Okay?
And what's worse? The first day of Sixth Form Induction week is my Brithday! 7th July!
Stupid/anoying/pointless- yes.
Exams should burn.
