Burnout 2 didn't arrive today!

Nooooooooooooooooo!

First time ever that I haven't got it on release day!

Grrrrrrrr.

Well, after phoning-up SR and speaking to some guy who sounded like he may've had one-drink-too-many last night, I found out that my silver GBA SP + Metroid and Mario Advance 3 were all despatched yesterday - even though my back account shows the cheque hasn't even begun to clear yet. :D

It's not like SR for an order to take so long, though...

I also phoned-up Gamestation, too, and agreed to trade-in 2 games against the £37.99 price-tage on Burnout 2: Points of Impact. They wouldn't take PC games through mail-order, so they'll give me £8 for the original Burnout, and a whopping 100-pennies for the awful FIFA '98 on the N64 -- and there I was, amazed that I would even get that for this game!! ;D
The Gamestation guy didn't sound too good, either... Sounded like he was suffering from a depression of nothing - just like so many teenagers. But he wasn't a northener - for once... I understood what HE was saying! :)


Also, phoned-up Bristol College yesterday to find out what the heck had happened to the appliaction I sent them before Easter, only to find out that they will not be doing the Construction course I had applied for, next year, and that it was sat on the desk of "no-one", and I should have been contacted about this ages ago!!

So I'm gonna do some other course instead... A 2-year one where you study one thing (like carpentry) for one-year, and something else (perhaps decorating?) in the second. That'll do for now, seeing as I have no real idea as to what I really want to do in the future.


Oh, and I'm staying on at school now, untill my exams are over.
But I'm still not going in....!
I got my "messed-up" coursework in yesterday, and they said that they'd send it off with a note explaining how I've had "problems" finishing it, so I can 'apparently' get my predicted grade (B maybe?) - which worked for another student, last year. And I've also made a deal so that I do not have to come into school untill the exams, just because all we do in lesson-time is revise, and this is my one-and-only A-level subject! :D

But 3 3-hour exams for one subject.... I'm always dying for a pee I can never have, every year, in any exam longer than 2 hours!! :S

I finished school today for good! Yay, no more lessons, no more annoying teachers to argue with. Ah!

There's either something wrong with the cheques I keep writing, or something terribley wrong with my local post-box, just up the road...

Since the 2-week Easter holiday I've written 2 cheques to 2 different companies, yet none of them appear to even be in the process of clearing, yet.

Last week I posted my order to SR for a GBA SP and games, but nothing seems to be happening with that, and I'm gonna have to ring 'em up tommorow and see what's happening, and whether they've even recieved the order. Maybe they just didn't like the fact that I scribbled the whole order down on paper after mucking-up the order form?

And I also ordered Winning Eleven 6: Final Evolution from www.RSDM.co.uk a few weeks ago, but I've heard nothing from them yet, and can't seem to get in contact with them while their site's been 'down' for nearly 2-weeks, now...


At least I haven't lost any money, though...!
