Been looking at Ikaruga.
I didn't plan to buy it, but it now looks tempting.

I always sucked at R-Type, though I never played it much. And the point of Ikaruga is to be difficult.

I think I'm leaning towards the japanese style of gaming - fun and not too hard. Mmmm, Burnouty.

Maybe something different (hard) would be a nice change...

i think the main quest on zelda was a bit short lived but the side quest are as well by the looks of things especially compared to the ocarina of time there were so many on that n most of them were separate from the main quest the ones on wind waker seem to fit into the quest more which is good because it give a better story and social atmosphere to the game but it makes the main quest completion basically the end of the game which is a bit bad
