Yay. Got the top time on Interstate for Time Attack on Burnout.
Could be one of the most perfect laps.. nay, one of the most perfect *things* I've ever done in my life. No crashes, 6 burnouts and every single thing going perfectly. Quater of a second inside.
Then I tried a different one, had 3 average laps and still whooped the best Time Attack time on both my second and third laps. I think I may even have crashed on one of the two, and still did it.
Got 4 Time Attack bests now. It's tempting to go for the full set, but I think the marathon tracks will be just about impossible.
Plus play dropped the price of burnout 2 to under £30, so I ordered that too. Won't play it until after the exams though.
Provided I have the will power.
I have no idea how to find the big marks on commercial law 2. It just seems completely bland and uninspired.
Hmm...
ICT is about as appealing as playing Universal Stuidios, It so boring, pointless, lame, annoying, gay.......
Still, No exams for over a week, Woohoo!
Oh well.
I was on an absolutely blistering lap, the key part of the course, where you crash, slow down, or blaze through en route to a great tim, that bit had gone perfectly.
I was sure I could sneak the time, I must have shaved 1.1 seconds, it was perfect.
Then some mug changing lames rearranged my face, and I'm left with 'if only'.
Ah well, maybe next time...
:^)
> Tiger Woods 2003 is really having an effect on my driving...
Heh, clever.
One of these days I'll have Burnout 2. In the mean time I've seen that Time Attack best laps are different to regular best laps, and much harder to beat.
I've had a virtually perfect lap on interstate at 2.10.1, need to shave it to 2.09.0 to make the best Time Attack time.
If the rest are this hard I'll never manage them all. But I promised myself I'd crack at least one before buying Burnout 2. How?
:^)
the games are on optical discs, expensive and a rip off of gamecube games.
4.5" screen will be expensive aswell if it's going to be as good as the ones on handheld TV's or whatever.
It's gonna be a rip off, spoilt rich kids and poofs will be the only ones who'll buy it.
Give me a GameBoy anyday!!!
In my lesson, earlier today, my instructor had to keep telling me to slow down, and I really was beginning to treat driving like it was still part of a game I've been playing way-too-much, recently!
No, I wasn't doing 140mph+ into the city-centre or anything, just that I was normally doing at least 10mph-over the speed-limit, in most cases.
But, on a good note, it seems that Burnout 2 may've made my awareness better, and my reactions faster. He said I was really good at doing Emergency Stops - and my reaction-speeds are usually on a par to those of Homer Simpson!
Best keep on playing it, then! :)
But I'm not even gonna consider booking my practical test untill I've got this thing sorted... But that doesn't mean I'm going to STOP playing Burnout! :D
