[Captain's Log: 10/03/04 - Day of the Edit Post Feature]
[Diary Entry: 7/7/05 - "We shall never forget"]
Nice to know that someone likes work... or rather, someone HAS work.
It all started with the usual day-at-work on Friday, when I got in, only to find that the car of this girl I like had been broken-into during the lunchtime/afternoon of the day before, and that all hear speakers, "subs", "amps" and that had all been nicked! ...Along with her coat.
I felt so-sorry for her, and still feel like hunting these guys down and seriously beating the cr@p out of them for doing this to her! :@
But she doesn't seem too affected...
She was as-happy-and-helpful-as-ever on Friday, and I felt great seeing her like that. She obviously shares the same view on this situation as I do: Much worse could've happened!
Speakers, amps and that can all be replaced, with a bit of cash.
If she was in the car at the time, and she was left seriously injured, then we would all have something to worry-about, since body-parts and limbs cannot be "replaced" all that easily.
And at least her car's still in one-piece (aside from the hammer-the-screwdriver-in-the-lock job on the driver's side).
Still, if I ever I do come face-to-face with the A-holes who did this, they will seriously get to "feel" what I think - no matter how much I've calmed-down, by then!
"5hi+ happens! But nothing is more important than your health!"
What's really getting to me, though, is the fact that I had the chance to go in to work late on Thursday morning, when my boss asked me about working more "extra-days". The extra-pressence of one, single-person could've made all the difference, I believe.
Had I been in, I could've seen suspiscious people lurking around her car (since I often check to see she's still here while I'm down that area of the yard), and even jumped the 6ft fence to stop them - seriously, I would've!
I could've gone mental, though, when I heard how our lazy-@rsed forman apparently saw a car pull-up in the car-park, with no-one getting out, only to soon-after drive-away - suspiciously...
If this was really bothering her (which, thankfully, it isn't) I could've really done something "STUPID" to the old "work-dodging todger" (as he was once know)!!
People reckon it's likely that it's someone she knows.
Then came Sunday; the day when I was sure I get a real chance to talk to her about how things are going, and to say how sorry I am to have heard about what happened... Only, she didn't turn-up!
I woke up early, got myself all "psyched-up" for a 'great' day at work with some incubus CDs, and then I find out she has a day-off!
What a dissapointment that turned-out to be! :(
Still... All was made-up-for, yesterday, when she came in wearing a skirt for the very-first-time this Summer!! :D

Why won't they pay you to coach? Sounds a bit strange! Coaching homeless kids or something?
:)
With 10 people playing for an hour or two once a week, splitting the cost between everyone, it'd only be a few pounds each.
The only problem is getting something like that organised, and being confident you won't be left with 2 players turning up and being charged for the whole court.
Hiring a court at the local leisure centre is well expensive too. It's a costly game is basketball.
So I do get paid.
I just get paid by me :^S
:)
NZ sounded lame because of the work I'd be taking there.
Teaching English abroad sounded lame because of the teaching English.
Coaching basketball in Kenya makes me drool with 'I want to do this' attention.
Problem: It'll cost over £3,000 for 3 months.
Jeez, having other people coach me at a residential camp cost £200 for a week.
It'd be cheaper to do that for 3 months!
I wonder if he knows I'm in.
