Arg.

I again recognise myself a few years ago.

Run my friend. Run away.

Don't tell her how wrong that guy is for her! Because your telling her she can't pick the right person for herself, and that she's a muppet for going out with the guy.

Rather, tell her that you really like her, and why you would be a better bf than that bloke. Make her see what's she's missing out on, and hopefully, if she does like you, you might get a pleasent responce.

What a crap twist to the story.

Do one thing for me? Ask her directly if she's seeing him, if she is then ask her out anyway, ask her to drop him for you.

If she won't what have you lost.

But just maybe...

I got a thing in the post this morning - for Littlewoods of all people - saying that I am "entitled to recieve what could be a substantial sum of money [anything from £1 to £100,000]", as a "beneficiary to a £2.0 million shareout"...

Usually, I'd chuck something like this straight in the bin.
But since I actually know who Littlewoods are, they've also given me a £15 voucher and I do not appear to actually have to pay anything for this; I'm gonna see what I get - even if it's only a tenner!


And in the post yesterday, I got my 64mb Memory Card from SR - only, for some reason, it appears to be the wrong one (a 59-block 4mb one!), and SR haven't done something like this to me in ages! :@

So, I'll be sending it back with a letter of moaning complaints. ;)
I didn't pay £19.99 for a £9.99 product!! :@


Heh, and my mate failed his driving test last Wednesday - at the "easy" test centre, too! :D
I tried very hard not to laugh, and to be 'supportive' when he told me what had happened... But following a bus into a bus-lane is something you do not know! :D

Overall, he was let down by his awareness - something my instructor has often spoken to me about in my lessons. This has certainly woken me up, with my test only 3 weeks away from this Thursday!

Learning from other people's mistakes... :D


One mistake I won't be making anytime soon, though, is asking out this girl I like, unfortunately. After all I've felt and seen, I discovered that she is, sort of, going out with ``the Idiot´´(and has been for most of the summer), despite the fact that he's about 6 years older than her!

It's not the fact that she's going out with "someone else" that's bothering me now - why the heck does it have to be HIM?!?
It still amazes me how he manages to drop so-many packs of decking and other timber several times a week, without breaking it all, and yet he's STILL got his job, and doesn't even get moaned at for his bad forklift-driving skills!!

But his familly does have a lot of money... But could that really be what this is all about - she's trying to milk him for all he's worth?
Her dad's got quite a bit himself... But I'm SURE she's not like that...!
