Though I'd be impressed if you actually bought it!
:)
Indeed a tough post to follow. So I'll spend it humming the Llama song.
*does so*
I was planning on hanging up the old joypads once my GameCube's life has come to end, perhaps going back through my personal Nintendo-gaming history to finish off all those SNES, N64 and Cube masterpieces I only ever gave half a care for. :P
At the upmost, I was planning on sticking to the handheld market for quick blasts here and then. Nothing more than that. Heh, that's the reason I bought an SP in the first place - and I've barely touched that in the 2 years I've had it!
And so, they finally reveal this 'Revolution'. I always hoped it would be a kind of 'back-to-basics' thing, as I feel too many games today are getting over complicated with controls and what-not. Yet, in other titles, you can do the same stuff through "Contextht Sthenthitividdy" - a foul-mouthed adolescent red squirrel once taught me all about that! ;D
The fact is, I'm far more than impressed with this new idea though. The extra interactivity, all the new possibilities for games like Metroid Prime 3 - perhaps I'll be able to enjoy, nay, COMPLETE a first-person shooter for the first times in.... Well, probably ever! :o
It's too soon for me to give up now, I feel.
I am still a little concerned, however. The idea of a complete back-catalogue for every Nintendo-consoled game were are able to get our hands on, it's a great idea, I must say, firsy of all. But it also feels as if this could be their way of saying 'Goodbye' to us...
"Well, we've had some great kicks over the years, but Shigsy ain't AAAANY younger me friends. And so, we leave you with... EVERYTHING, to remember us by!"
Anyone can see the world's changing, thanks to the domination of SONY and Microsoft have come along with their... "ideas".
Nintendo could be about to attempt escape while they still can, before this new innovation in the way we interact with games isn't such a 'revolution' any more.
I still couldn't see them ditching the GameBoy/DS anyhow. :)
> Anyone miss me? :D
No...
... but that's only because we have MSN. :P
I never seem to be around on the forums much anymore. :S
Anyone miss me? :D
I like how they define 'real' as 'imaginary' :^D
Mumbai has finished the MSc
After all the complaining, stressing and occasionally working, my 30,000 words of world-changing innovational greatness (in my heart it is) is handed in, admittedly with one or two last minute problems, buut it's in, over, done and dustd.
Now I have to get a career :^(
