A kiddy at college who works in WH Smith - and has a PS.2; not a GameCube - got one of the Zelda: Collector's Edition discs for free, since they only had "a few" left in stock, and, quite simpy, Smith's are "going down". Apparently, some "expert" came into the store asking about them, and said that, within time, they'd be worth around £200 or something! :o ?
Yes, I know!! And, apparently, this same bloke seems to think they can go for nearly £100 as they are now... (He must work for the BBC or something!)
What surprised me most, though, was that a PS.2-owning 16-year-old obsessed with designer names like `Ben Sherman´ and `FCUK´ didn't once bad-mouth or laugh at the Zelda series! Infact, he seemed to love it!
...He didn't say he'd played any of them or anything, so, I reckon it was just because of their "future value" or something....
And again, I find another way of having been able to have saved myself 4,500 Stars, had I given it all a little more thought... :(

Oh God that was sick... i remember someone showing that as part if a censorship project at school... i i knew exactly when to put teletext on! It is still sickening talking about it....

Have you finished your cue-case yet? If so, will you be "showing-it-off" at the tournament? ;)
I've gotten back into Pool myself, recently. Every lunchtime, at college, we all head-down to the local pub and play it there.
Now, I'm not as good as I used to be, but I can still pull-off some "lucky" trick-shots that look so-good and MADE me so-good... It's just a shame I still have the old habbit of accidentally potting the white or knocking the black in at the same time! :S ;D
Can't believe I'm also done packing, though. All I've left to do in my room is to put all my clothes in something, pack up my 'Cube and my 21" TV (safely!), have a proper tidy-up of what's left on my desk, and to sort through 3-years-worth of Art-work from school (most of which, I intend to BURN! - "Mwuhahahahahahaaa!"). And then... I'M DONE!!! :D
My mum and dad are taking care of the rest of the house, but they're still gonna need a hand with the garage (which is still in a right old state and hasn't even been touched!) - and, for once, at this time of the year, I'm actually happy to be working 2 full-days this weekend! ;D
Can't believe it's almost time to go, though... 4 more days, and I'm "going home", while my dad `dissapears´....
Speaking briefly of work, I saw Kelly's dad yesterday...
Bloody idiot of a driver, he is! There I was, on the way back from my lesson, when he - with his big-off 4m trailer behind him - flying round the corner and down some of the narrowest of lanes, just as I was trying to take things steadily!! At least, I think it was him, anyway... I didn't take a look at the driver; just recognised the vehicle and the name on the side of it.
From this, and what I've heard from everyone else at work, I'm quite worried about things, if I do have to meet him in the near future....
How many people have seen `Meet the Parents´....!! :S
Speaking of films I'd like to forget, "Mr.Mann" reminded me exactly why I've never added Scary Move to my DVD collection, the other night! :S
People talk about the Blair Witch Project, and The Ring... But, I tell ya, there's only one-thing in a film that could give this 18-year-old nightmares!! :S D':

County it is.
Went to the venue today, to check I could find it and put some time in on the tables there.
I'm missing a bit too much for big competitions. I'm making tough shots, but fluffing too many that I should be making.
Last year the county team sucked - drawing one match and losing all the others. So hopefully even if I'm not on top form, I can still put a good run together...

Argh, what to do?
On saturday, I had planned to go play in a national pool competition, to see what kind of standard I was at.
But I just found out that also on saturday, is the county yeam trials, which I thought I'd missed.
The national thing would be my first one, and I could see how I match up against some of the better amateurs and maybe a couple of pros (the term is used loosely!) in the country.
But it's a long way away, in cardiff.
The county thing would be of a lower standard, and I probably wouldn't be able to play for the full year.
But it's so close :^D
So I'm a bit torn. Since I've not done the county thing before, and don't have a great objective idea of how good I am, it might make more sense to walk before I try to run. Plus I could soon be playing county, of course.
But I'm tempted by the (relative) glamour and prestige of the big tournament...
