Yay.

After the pikey government screwed me over for incapacity benefit while I'm waiting for the operation on my leg, I finally got my income support (the second-rate alternative) confirmed today, along with a cheque for the last 6 weeks.
Admittedly the application was supposed to run from about 8 weeks ago, when I became unable to work (no doubt they have some other technicality to save them some money), but I now have money to live on. Just about.
So yay.

I was wondering if I'd be able to afford the £5 or so it costs me to play league pool once a week, to keep me up to standard for when the county season starts.
And now I can.
