[Diary Entry: 7/7/05 - "We shall never forget"]
The snow's all gone, but it's still fricking freezing.
I blame the weatherman.
Mwhahaaahaa.. much gaming awaits. And Chem homework :S
Supposed to be pretty good.
Scary Movie 3 was ok, but some of the jokes failed awfully....
Really wanna pizza-hut, but gonna have to wait for the misses to finish work. And then hope she'll be up for one... which she more than likely will be. The only thing that'd put her off will be the walk through the cold to get there.
Then might go watch a film at the cinema. What shall I watch?
Lost In Translation
Runaway Jury
Scary Movie 3
???
They appear to be doing an animation week or something at the cinema here. Had Toy Story on yesterday, Toy Story 2 on day, A Bug's Life tomorrow, and Monsters Inc. on Thursday!
:)
"Huh? I think I've missed that..."

I was on about that thing that allows you to see the last few posts from the last 10 minutes, and who posted them.
"Good to hear it. So is it one of those pubs with rubbish skittles/bowling lanes in? I was never sure if they really existed :^D"
-----
Well, we have two of them here! Except, one's in a tiny little cricket club pavillion filled regularly by OAPs and under-aged drinkers, and the others in a decent pub that everyone from anywhere seems to like (oh, how I'm spoilt for choice!). ;D
"You don't know her but hate her? Maybe a little harsh!
...I think it's mostly just about confidence. And a decent hair-cut."
-----
You know what I mean... She's one of those annoying slightly-younger girls who'll randomly force her way into crowds and conversations with annoying this to do and say.
A decent hair-cut... I'm supposed to be getting mine cut, like, 3-weeks-ago! :D I never bother with anything special; just a simple CUT; "short back and sides". I don't really have the hair for much else. It's too thick and wirey (rather dog-like, infact). If it's quite long, and I try and comb it straight, it just doesn't work. It's even too stiff and resilient against and gels and waxes I can find! So, I just try and brush it forwards while also starting to part down the middle, a little bit. That way, although it's still rather "untidy", it's not that easily noticable, because of the waves in my hair. And I'll try and play around with my big, thick fringe (which was DOES work on - for 10 minutes, anyway...), just so it ain't all coming down over my face like some miserable-looking Mancunian git from Oasis (or, Tim, from The Office).
You hate them, yet, you HAVE to have one and do not seem able to go without one. So, I got myself some £1 ringtones (for my 3310) from Club Nokia the other day, and, after only a day or two of having them, without having tampered with them once, they're all fugged up!!
The James Bond theme now plays about as fast as a lump of custard sliding down your kitchen wall. Mission Impossible has a few notes changed, and is now cut-short when it plays. Incubus' `Drive´ (my current choice of ringtone) appears to still be in-tact, but is also cut-short. And there's another M:i problem for `Under the Bridge´, by the Chili Peppers.
It's bloody typical! I've never been fussed about them before, although I have tried to (poorly) compose some of my own. And at the one-time I decide to actually "follow-suit" with everyone else, it goes wrong somehow!
My incoming call alert is still "Ringing" as opposed to "Ring Once"; I haven't edited any of these tones once... And, of course, all the really crap ones you initialy get are all working fine! :P
The signal in my new house is really crap, too. It's bad enough that we get Welsh TV for living in the WEST region, here, but while waiting nearly 2 hours for a reply from Muppet on Friday, it wasn't until I left my seat and MOVED that I recieved his text - just because the signal was one-bar-better, 500mm closer to the ceiling! :P
I don't know why this has all suddenly P'd me off...
I mean, I'm actually happy living here and everything. Life is already getting a lot better, and I should pass my lunch-time driving test 2-weeks-from-tommorow at the third-attempt... Perhaps I'm just beginning to settle-in and all the frustrations are coming back to me... (ie. last-Friday was exactly one-month since the "last-time" at the Christmas Do)?
Anyway, I've applied for an account with First Direct. Mum told me to "just apply anyway and see what happens", even though she said I shouldn't do the same with HSBC, anyway (just because SHE's with them aswel! :P ). So, hopefully, I'll get some more good news, soon. :)
I'd also better send my provisional license back to the DVLA soon, otherwise, if I don't get my address changed, I could get fined up to £1,000 (apparently...) and I might also have problems starting my test, if I cannot confirm my details are correct! :S
And I've got to order Billy Hatcher, post my new address details to other places, pay my driving instructor again this week, buy some more CDs and DVDs... This is gonna be one expensive week without having barely left the house! :o
Finally sorted it!
And grrr. The reason it wasn't working was because I was making it too complicated. All I had to do was specify the angle I wanted the body to rotate rather than base it on the orientation of the character or anything.
grrr-argh
