You didn't look over inheritance in your course?!?

Anyway, I've found a new online DVD rental site - have a look at lovefilm.com and see what you think of it.

By paying £10 a month, you get unlimited rentals - you queue up a list of DVDs you want, and they send you one at a time. Just post it back in a postage paid envelope when you've finished, and they'll send you another! Worth it do you think?

Finally copied this ever so usfull program off my computer onto this one "TreeSize Professional". I was curious as to the reduced amount of disk space left on this computer. TreeSize is a program that scans your HD and tells you how much disk space each directory is taking up, and lets you open those directories to see how big subsequent directories are. The advantage of this program tho, is that it also shows you hidden directories! And I'm not just talking about normal directories that can be seen when you put on "View Hidden File/Folders"! This shows you even more hidden directories. Specifically the Restore directory!

Well I finally managed to see the restore directory on this computer. It was over 3gig big!!! Stupid windows, I don't want that wasting all my HD space. So I deleted it, and now have a heft amount of space remaining!

Cool

My Brother bought Crouching Tiger on DVD for about £7 last week. Should really watch it some time. Especially seeing as the (sometimes) lovely Michelle Yeoh is in it, of Tomorrow Never Dies fame.

grrr, I was right when I thought Sainsbury's closed at 4pm on a Sunday!

So decided to wonder through town on the way back. Went in Woolys and they were selling Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon for £5.99 on DVD. Decided to get it to replace my current VHS copy as the quality of it is P00! Think it might have something to do with being next to one of the hot water pipe, so the video was extra dodgyly fussy lookin' VHS. But now I've got a perfect DVD copy!

heh, don't think I ever mastered the basic... or C++ for that matter. Just kinda swing it as I go along!

Really should learn it fully at some point. Inheritance is something I really need to look at!

That's while juggling 2 different Java projects at the same time, whilst learning it, and learning two new things - ADA and FOL.

Todays task:

Get the characters to walk rather than just kinda float about.

Current Status:

Nearly there.

Current Mind Status:

Need a bit of fresh air, so might go for my weekly hike over to sainsburys (before it closes to) and get.... something. Don't think there's much I need at the mo, other than some ham for me sandwitches. Might buy a big box of those After Eights tho, if they still have em in!

Probably. I just cut it out when I had that problem, and haven't bothered with it again yet. It was because of some sound code I got from a programming website. It must just not do some check microsoft have updated DirectX to check or do something stupid, so I'll just look up some more uptodate or different sound code at some point when I really need it!
