No it isn't (well... not yet, only been doing it for a month), tis very interesting though if you're into that sort of thing. There's a lot to learn in terms of studies that add weight to theories and it's a lot more scientific than I think a lot of people expected it to be but for me, someone who has an aptitude for the sciences but doesn't like them, it's a perfect compromise. Takes what I found to be the most interesting aspects of Biology (evolution basically), combined it with a bit of Sociology & throws in some interesting brain stuff. It appears that the social sciences interest me... been trying to change Politics for Sociology since the start of term but it ain't happening :-(

Nope, Psychology as you may have gathered from that ^. Philosophy's... OK. I took it because the college I went to doesn't offer Theology. The ethics & moral side of the course I find fascinating (if a little tedious at times) but the Plato side (we're reading The Republic) is just a bit too mindbending.
I kind of screwed up an online test a little bit, but not as badly as I thought I had.
They had a stupid flash-based reasoning test. A proper timed thing. To go back a page you had to click a button within the flash thingy, if you absent-mindedly clicked the back button on your browser, you screwed the whole thing up.
Hi.
But fortunately I was able to restart, and all was right with the world. I think I did well anyway. I'll find out soon enough.
In other news, my uni project grade gets decided on monday, my course grade finalised on wendnesday, and I find out.. a little way down the line. Nobody really knows when :^)
Cross your fingers for me dudes ;^)

P!ss easy. I had a couple of modules last year at uni, revised for a couple of hours and got a first in both. Also, the year before that tehre was an intro to pysch module; my only revision was literally a quick skim trhough the text book the night before. Got 61%!

You'll have to choose one direction sooner or later; there's absolutely no crossover between the first and last two, unlesd there's a degree/job in office acting.
And what the hell can you do with Philosophy in life, other than ponder all night?

I suppose its Philosophy then, it seems to be the only one that would seem interesting out of those four. My sister is going for a PhD in Philosophy and perhaps become a professor in Philosophy, and professors get more income than Secondary School or Primary School teachers.
What's it like? I've heard it's very hard.
That said I haven't even begun looking at career options so maybe I should pay a visit to Connexions and see what doors are open to me.
That might sound like I'll be spending forever in college then, but I might not do everything that i have in mind. I'm currently doing an ND which is the equivalent of three A-levels in ICT. Afterwards, I'm thinking:
- HND in ICT
- Electrical engineering
- Mechanical engineering
- Drama
- Performing arts
Drama is currently my favourite choice out of the list, and one of the engineering ones, but we'll just have to see how it goes.
Hurrah!
Hmph.
