Mwa ha ha

Won at pool again, 5-2, I won in singles and doubles.

If only I didn't do so many stupid things I'd be a great player :^)

And while I was out I won an ebay auction for a set of us pool balls too.
Which means I have to buy a us pool cue as well...
But now I can become an american 9-ball legend, so it'll pay for itself in time. Well, maybe :^D

And there's still the vast quantity of computer bits of course...

*cries*

Hmm. I'm looking at a basketful of PC bits. £95 worth.

They're all cheap but reasonable spec, stuff that'll cope with what I need.

The summer before last I started building myself a PC. I got to buying the tower (which I now think looks ugly), before busting my shoulder, having to quite my job and stoping the whole project.

Today I decided to start up again, as I figured I'll want a reasonable PC for my masters, and my old second hand antique won't cut it any more.

So I bought a processor and motherboard on ebay fairly cheap, but all the other components were more expensive.

I went elsewhere, found the cheapest place I could, and now have a CPU fan, graphics card, 40 gig HD, CD rom (I can add an RW later, for now I'm too cheap) and 128mb DDR ram.

I've got half an eye on a £65 windows ME too, as I like to do things the legal way. But for now my old '95 disk will do. I'll get a modem later too.

So, I figure I might as well just do it, buy the junk. I'll only end up getting it some time anyway, might as well be now.
And £180 for the whole case and inside bits isn't bad, is it?
(I'll rape my old pc for the other bits)

Problem - I've never done this before. The most complex thing I've done is remove a graphics card when I reformatted the HDD and couldn't find its driver. Hell, I even had help to reformat the HD, I can't so a thing in BIOS.

£180 might not be bad for a new computer, but it's a pretty bum deal for a useless heap of chips.
*Ponders*

Perhaps I'll leave it until tomorrow. I only came online to get to a milkshape tutorial, and I haven't even touched it. I need to sleep sometime :^S

You get S4C? God, I hate Welsh TV - yes, because I can never understand a work of it, and you miss-out on half of all the crap on Channel 4 (or, if you're lucky, it all gets repeated one-hour and one-week later...)!

If there's one thing I don't like about our new house, it's all the Welsh TV we're stuck with, because the normal signal "flies over" our village (or something...), and so, unlike where I was before, we're stuck with it!

S4C, BBC Wales, no Channel 5... It's no wonder I've resorted to watching very little TV AT ALL since we moved, unless it's on Sky.

But hey, at least everything's sort of okay when you have Sky Digital... However, since I don't own the house, I can't always get what I want to watch, on-demand, still...

Ugh! I don't know what I know...

I go to work again today, and she completely ignores me once again; talking to someone else about "Justin-this; Justin-that"... :P
She's barely even said "Hello...." to me, since he came to work...

Yep, it's over. Over and as over-the-moon as... it can be....

NO looking-back now, it's done and it's done with. "Done, do-done-done, done". Goodbye, Kelly!!

Now, I've just gotta meet someone else and climb out of this big depression I'm currently sinking-further into. I don't get-out enough for it, though - it's true. However, I'm now pretty determined to try and start changing that as of this next-week. Even if it means I'm only going down one of the local pubs for a night or something - it all helps, in the long-run...

I feel so crap right now, I feel like splashing-out on a brand-new GameCube game or-two (something I haven't done in a long, long time - not with a game I actually wanted to play, anyway!).

I'm thinking of The Simpsons: Hit & Run, right now...
But, Beyond Good and Evil also looks good (at £20!)....
Heck, with a couple of trade-ins, I could easily afford both! :)

It beats wasting my money on clothes I don't neccesarily "need", anyway... ;)

Heh. Hindsight is always 20-20...

Tphi, I'm sure you'll be fine. They'll step security right up now.

Fft. I'm soo hungry. I need proper food...
Ideally I'd have a swiss roll and custard, and I'd eat it while watching 2nd chance Monkey on s4c. This time there's a monster who wants to make friends - their genius knows no bounds...
Black books felt like a bit of a let-down.
Fft. My life is reduced to lame tv. I need to be a lifeguard.
