There just one of my favourite bands, and I hate it when people call them a manufactured boyband, just cuz Chester Bennington has a voice like a pop star!! They're blaitantly not a manufactured boyband though, and Hybrid Theory is a great album!

Yeah, Cooky, agree a punk rock soundtrack would not suit Zelda at all...
But it suited Tony Hawks, although THPS2 has left Punk for greater mass market appeal with some hip hop and metal... the good song (Bad Relgion- 'You') was taken out of the N64 version!!!
And I hear THPS3 is further hopping on the nu-metal bandwagon, although from the tracklistings I have seen of it there are some good songs, but I can't remember them off hand... I just remember being pleasantly suprised when I saw the soundtrack wasn't all nu-metal stuff and retained some punky stuff a la the classic soundtrack of Tony Hawks 1!!!
Dead Kennedys, Suicidal Tendencies... Both had classic tracks on THPS1

The music in the Zelda games suited the game perfectly. Putting a Punk/Rock soundtrack to it would completely ruin it! What are you thinking when you thought up such a stupid idea!?!
Plus the soundtrack in Crazy Taxi was one of the most annoying soundtracks on the planet. I had to play the game with the sound turned off, and my own music a going!
The Tony Hawk's soundtrack was ok though! If not a bit repetitive after a million goes!

I also agree that punk is the future! And it will be appearing on more games in the near future!
You can already get it one games like THPS and Crazy Taxi, how long will it be before we hear it on a new Zelda or Mario adventure?? After all, if Nintendo want to loose their 'kiddy image' they'll have to change that music!
