No, not men's thongs ( ;-) ) - i just checked the cash i have with me. It's not unusual for me to think i'm a little short, not really by how much i spent, but because i never seem to have much money, and wishful thinking takes over.

However, tonight i have MORE money than i should. I don't understand. I like, but i don't understand.
I know i didn't have any cash with me when i went out, and i know i took £30 from a cash machine, no more, but i have a bit under £22 now (small change included). I know i spent about 3.50 on some food on the way back, and i'm certain the change was at least close to perfect. So somehow everything (drinks) i bought tonight cost roughly 4.50 . I don't understand.

Ugh. Just got back in. Well, after watching some simpsons vids for a bit with a mate (and making a swift exit as the GP coverage began :-) ), but tonight i made what was quite possibly a very expensive bet with a girl i know.

We were talking, and the subject of my birthday present, which she hadn't got round to getting to me, now a month after my birthday (no, it wasn't for my 500th SR anniversary ;-) ) came up. Unfortunately, the stakes escalated from one drink, to a meal, a drink, something (i really can't remember what it was, which worries me) and karaoke. Fortunately, it also envolves her doing a bit more than remembering my birthday present tomorrow (and i wrote it down, so at least i'll remember that!). Still, the meal could get quite expensive (i'll offer to go halves if i win, but if i lose...) and the singing, well, i've not done it for a year or so, and there's a good chance i'll be very bad at it. Hmm.

Hopefully, either i'll win (i'm hoping for a technicality :-) ), or we'll put it down to a slightly drunk bet.

Just thought i'd share that. Pray for me!
