So ever since i got home from uni, there's been a playstation in a bag in the corner of my living room. Almost a week on, my sister told me she wanted me to fix it, it was from her work, where some muppet had broken it.

Many questions sprang (is it just me, or is that a very ugly word? maybe it should be sprung, but that's still ugly) to mind. Like why they have a playstation at work, why she thought i could fix it, and WTF generally.
Still, i had a go. My record on fixing these things was 1 of 2 - ie, i couldn't salvage my game gear when i was about 10, but 5 years later i did fix my snes pad. But it really comes down to exactly how simple the problem is. I managed to sort out the crippled cd spinning and reading bit, i was quite proud of myself. But then it turns out one of the motors seems to be burned out (in my non-expert opinion). No easy fixes, so i guess my sister will just have to do some of the work she's paid for.
Ah well, 1 in 3. I blame my sister.
And the butterfly.
