Hi BIGMAN!! were not happy with bbc after newsround!! its not that i watched it but whilst waiting for my food i was flicking through channels when i saw the nintendo logo above 'leezos' head. Then it went to one of those 'press packer people' and he was playing on one. The reporter was using completly the wrong attitude towards the cube. :)j im going for a little while!! i may be on again a little later if not byee!! :)jc

Yeah, me too. I hope they read my angry email out tomorrow, they said they will send a reply to my E-mail adress! Ill post it in here when I get it!

Well i'm disgusted in Newsround, I always had faith in them but to do something like this is terrible, i shall nether watch it again untill they change there veiw on the GC !!!

They slagged off the GC saying that it would fail because it has no DVD player, and that it doesn't play N64 games, and the PS2 plays Ps games.

Nice one. that should let them know the truth about nintendo. the bbc, they think they have it right up their sleave. Gamecube will kickass when it is released over here, with it's great games in the forth coming year and it's superb unique design, it has the equipment to take on x-box and ps2 ! :)jc

I would just like to say that I saw today's episode and I thought it was bad how you talked about the Gamecube. I would just like to take this time to explain to you why it is called the Gamecube and what is so good about it:

1) It is called a Gamecube because it plays games.
2) Consoles do not need DVD players to be successfull, Ninitendo are a well established company who are not contending with Microsoft and SONY. Their main concern is too fullfill gamers with the experience that they expect from a Nintnedo console. It is known as the 'Nintendo Difference'.
3) The Gamecube doesn't need to play N64 games because people already have an N64, or they are not interested. It would be very difficult to make a console that played BOTH cartridges and Mini DVD's. It would also put the price up, which is a key selling factor for the Gamecube.
