One of my dogs at my dads house is 14. He's meant to be blind but he escaped the other day and crossed the A11 no problem! and went to the vets! strange dog, yeah, i know ;)
I'm sorry to hear that BIGMAN. I know what it is like to lose a dog, my old dog was really ill (she was only about 2) so we put her down. Now I have two little cheeky baggers.
Whatever desicion they make, at least you know they're making the right one. :)

It looks as I we might have to have our eldest dog put down, she's 11 and became diabetic about a month ago but has now gone blind. My parents had said that if she were to go blind then they felt that it wouldn't be fair on her and would have to have her put down, but I think they are going to see what happens tonight and decide !
