None of the GBAs are backlit (well, not without some unofficial modifications anyhoo) but (allegedly) some of the Black and Orange ones from Japan have slightly better screens... (ie, they are a little sharper).
Well... I think it was something to do with Panasonic doing some of the screens to help meet demand, and theirs are a little better, but not very much...
No one knows of their only doing the black/Orange ones, or if they are doing some screens for all colours, but I *think* (a big THINK there) that the better screens are only in Japan...

no, i don't think so, because they said that they didn't back light the normal GBA's because it would cost alot more to make and it would break quite easy and the bulbs would need changing alot in such a small space!
