Nope. It means i'll be getting a phd in telling a drunk bloke that i can't 'do him a deal' on reef. Every single time he comes to the bar.

Just got in from work.
I have 25 hours a week mon-fri.
Today i had overtime, at 1.5 times normal pay, as it's saturday. It was early, and finished mid-afternoon.
Just as i was comtemplating going out (as i'd been doing for an hour and a half, not managing to pursuade myself to get off my ash), i got a call from a guy at the uni's union bar, where i'd enquired about work a bit ago. Offered me a shift starting half an hour later.
It was the first time i've done bar work. I was torn between being nervous and not really caring, as if it went bad i'd not really lost anything.
2 am we finished. Sat around for an hour and a half, then i went home.
Now the second job is permanant, i can fall back on bar-work experience if i ever need to get a job in the future, and i'll be able to suplement my income with the bar work, the shifts of which i'll be able to choose to accept or reject at will. Also, when uni starts again after summer, i'll be in perfect position to continue working at the union, taking up part time shifts, a couple of evenings a week.
Oh, and with few hours, without overtime i take about £100 a week. Not that much. Today, all of my hours being ovetime, a bonus on what i'd normally get, i earned £67.50 - in one day : D
Admittedly it took 12 hours of my day to make my almost £70, but the work wasn't too hard, and i now have bar work experience.
And now i sleep ¦ )
