Can't help you there - the thing will be run on sony's servers, but i don't know whether you'd have to use their dial-up, whether they'd provide a free number for the dial-up (so you don't pay for the call), there would probably be a fee (per month or summit).
Guess the details will become clearer in time.

Yeah I've seen it Duck, sounds exciting. But there's one thing I'm not clear with; do you use your own ISP or do you have to connect to specific sony servers and pay their rates? That really would suck if they did that.
As for the games, they look pretty average for us Europeans what with all the American sport sims and all (unless you like that). Twisted Metal and Tribes are the games I'd be most interested in from the starting line-up.
All this waiting is annoying.....I want Mario now.
I'd like to play Kingdom Hearts to pass the time but I can't afford to get it and I've had enough of SSB for a while.
