i've not seen it yet but when I finish I will realy want to. By the way if you want to read a Stephen King you should start with the Dark Tower series, they're really good and also still being updated.

I've never read a Stephen King book. Always wanted to. I might after I've finished reading Shogun, which I'm right near the end of. What they like to read? The Stand the film was pretty good.

After about 10 minutes i stopped watching clueless (wasn't very good and i didn't see Sly :^) ), but i saw the end. Was it just me, or did she end up dating her brother? WTF was that about?

Also, with absolutely nothing else to do, i've started reading some of my backlog of books. I've had sophies world on my bookshelf for 3 years, started it last night. It's actually very good, i must have got through about 60 pages in the one night, and actually found myself in pain keeping my eyes open but still going for 'just one more chapter'. Only criticism - the book suggests philosophers to hold an absurdly high opinion of themselves and their passtime. Like talking about people being like a pack of cards, you can split them into red (people who don't care about philosophy) and black (people who think/act like they know everything), and then there's the occasional joker, which is of course the special philosophical person who's infinitely better than all the other cards.

By all means feel passionately about your field, but suggesting you're the best/wisest ("wisest is he who knows that he does not know") seems to somewhat align you to the pile of cards that claim to know everything.

Aside from being up its own ash though, it is a great book. So far.

Also, from the book, it turns out that Loki was, in norse mythology, Thor's man-****h (okay, sidekick) :^)
Just raises the question, is sr's thor tonty or snuggers?

:^)

Basically Sibs, it's a bunch of American bimbos in Beverly Hills going round doing what your average stereotype American teen does!

wtf is clueless...? I saw something last night about that time... think it might have been it, this irritating american girl kept going on about how her friend was clueless, then her friend nearly got chucked off a balcony bit at the 'mall' and then the main person thought she was clueless or something... that was a crap program. It was so bloody annoying. Although that ska band they had in it were pretty good, when she was dancing with the gay dude... But seriously, I felt like punching half the characters in it... the program almost seemed like a mick-take of the whole American high school deal where all the people are acting so fake and crap... but it wasn't supposed to be a mick-take...

Anyway, I felt like punching half the characters in it...
