Morning!
I have just witnessed true beauty.
A custom snooker/pool cue, and what a cue.
(peradon.co.uk, cuewizard.co.uk)
Picture it: 3/4 split, 16" from the butt, made of the finest ash, with no added butt piece, double spliced (ash), each with dark and light blue inlays (the light on top of the dark, nearer the butt).
9mm blue diamond tip, 18 oz. Customised plate on the butt.
Comes with 30" extension (ebony, they don't offer ash :^( )
£150. Add an aluminium 3/4 case with space for the extension and you're fixed for life ¦^D
Or the same cue, but with a rosewood butt (hand-set) and extension, large ash splice, interior small rosewood splice, both with dk and lt blue inlays, light on the ash-side.
Sadly, that one runs to £270. But it would be the nuts if i could afford it...

Right, sorted out that i'll be going back next wednesday, a week today.
And if some tea leaf's half-inched my frozen curry, i won't be larry. If i catch 'em, they'll be brown bread.
Then the next david gray my china plate's coming up for the... ah enough, weekend.
Should be good. Even if i'll still be in a sling.
At least i'll hopefully have 5 parcels waiting for me. Depending on the freeloader launch - i can hope. Still, got my cue ball coming first.
And hopefully a cheque for the money those pirates at the carphone warehouse stole from me :^S
I'll have to call them tomorrow. 4 times they've screwed me over now. They owe me £60. Next time it happens i call trading standards or something.
I want my parcels.

And for the philosophy,
lets all do what plato says and fly our souls back to the land of ideas on the wings of love. :^\
Or was it socrates... socrates, plato, aristotle. Ideas.. aristotole thought they were the creations of man, not pre-existing in their own reality as the others (was it both?) had thought... plato's cave would suggest it had been him, as would the lack of documentation on socrates, but i can't remember enough to be sure... Where did plato and socrates seperate?
Bah, may have to re-read a bit to check. Don't want to, can't even bring myself to start on hellenism as it is...
