Minor story changes? It isn't a "change" in story at all. It's a completely new part of the story for every game. Unlike Tomb Raider, who's story is basically "You need to find the Eye of The Gods! Oh, and watch out for that boulder".
You're kidding yourself if you think the next Tomb Raider is going to be a massive improvement.

They say they are. But they're not. Just look at the screens, it's exactly the same.

Ironically I've never been a driving game fan.

I can see how someone would think that, but I still enjoy them. They have something over Tomb Raider - a storyline.

I have Tekken 4 but only because I had a GAD to claim. If there isn't anything new I won't fork out for it. Tekken 4 didn't have enough new stuff for me, luckily I could get it anyway.

Fifa got stale ages ago.
The thing that annoys me about Tomb Raider is that it constantly gets full marks in magazines such as OPS2. Every new game has a minor improvement, "Wow, she can hang from a ledge. That's worth £40 alright", and you have to collect some ancient artifact. Then games like Final Fantasy X get marked down for not being as original - there's more innovation in every single Final Fantasy than every Tomb Raider sequel.
> Tomb Raider? Five identical games just not enough for you?
That's a bit like saying it's not worth getting Gran Turismo 4 because it's just more driving around in circles. Or Resident Evil: Outbreak because it's just more zombie killing. Or Tekken 4 because it's just another fighter. Or FIFA 2004 because it's just another footie game.
Next thing you know gamers will be asking for 'originality'
