What a fine old pickle I'm in. While I sit here and read all your comments on GTA3 being the best game ever, and all the cool stuff you can do in it, I still don't have a copy. Why? Because I'm a greedy git. Here's my problem - There's the possibility that, seeing as I'm in the 'industry' and everyfink, that I may blag a free 'promotional' copy of the game. But, this may not turn up for a week, two weeks, maybe not at all. Working for a games company and all, obviously the temptation is there to just go downstairs and buy a copy, but then, knowing my god-awful luck, the promo will turn up five minutes later.

So, what would you do? If you stopped talking about it, that might help. I'm an impatient sod, but not to the tune of 30 odd quid. But it sounds really good. But I might get it for free. See what I mean? What do I do? Help me, please.

or sell the promo copy at a massive price cos its a promo copy.

Just steala copy when no-ones looking, if someone finds out one's gone, blame it on Loki...

I say buy it. If you get a free copy, you can sell the original copy, prolly losing only a tenner as it's so new.

thing is promos usually dont come in the proper box or with any instructions and you arent allowed to re-sell them

Buy it and flog the promo if it comes. Sorted.
