Def Jam Vendetta rocks my spandex.

It's basically No mercy with much improved graphics, no gay men in leotards and a lot faster smoother game play.

It's sooooo good. Because Aki haven't had to keep to a WWF license some of the moves are completly over the top and look brilliant. They're all pretty realistic and possible, it's just that if you did some of the special moves on people in real life, there's no doubt that they'd kill them.

For example one of my character's special moves, he snaps their back on his leg, punches them twice in the face then does a massive spinning pile driver so they land on the back of their neck.

Muchos TKO stylee.

The atmosphere in the game is great too. All the fights take place in arenas like strip bars and nightclubs and stuff, Funkmaster Flex is on the decks mixing the 'phat beats' as you fight and also commentating.

Whoever it was that said the control are unresponsiv on the PS2 demo either has a messed up controller or forgot to plug it in. The fights are so smooth and the contorls are great. The reversal system has been brought on a bit from No Mercy as well. At one point I was fighting Scar Face, we managed to get about 8 reversals at once, he revesed me I reversed him etc etc until I eventually flaw the punk. It looks sweet.

I'm sure Fire Pro's good.

But I can't beat up Ludacris with Method Man and Redman so this one will win every time.

Ultimate Muscle is looking like being the only serious contender to the title.....maybe Wrestlemania X9, have to see about that one.

There's a strong ang weak grapple. Tapping A does a weak grapple and hold A does a strong grapple then when you have them in the grapple press a direction and either A or B to pull of a move. There's 8 different moves from the front and 8 moves if you're holding them from the back. Obviously strong grapple gives you much stronger moves than the weak grapple.

Then there's tons of others depending on what situation you're in, tons of variations on jumping off the turnbuckle onto them, you can lift your opponent onto the turnbuckle and piledriver them off. You can rap them up in the ropes and give them a load of headbutts to the face etc etc

There really are tons of moves to do, much more than any other wrestling game i've played. It's hard to explain them all though.

Different directions with the grapple button.

I think.

How do alter the moves you do then? From what I remember it was one button for a main attack, one for grapple, but whatever I pressed with attack seemed to make no difference. He just kept doing the same kicking move over and over.

I think I won in the end though.

Right ok.

You seem to love wrestling games, like me. But seeing as though youre claiming a certain game to be the best wrestling game ever without including the words 'Fire Pro Wrestling,' it hurts me very much.

I need to make you understand the true beauty of a wrestling game.

Anywayyyy... Ive had DJV for my PS2 for months now, played it a few times but was really hard. I dont have instructions either *for some reason cough cough* so dont know how to do the moves and stuff. I learned but still sucked.

I shall get a walkthrough thing.
