"Do you report posts?"

If I find an unsuitable post, such as someone trying to sell something from another website, someone badly trolling or similar, I always click the report option, usually to find it gets deleted at some later juncture. But looking at the mess all over the Long, Interesting or Amusing Stories board, I wonder if I'm the only one. So does anyone else do it too, or am I the sole snitch around here?

I've never see anyone swear, so i do not report, i wish I could, it'll make me laugh.

I always report swearing, people who are just annoying (Crazycol), inappropriate material etc. I find that without BEARDS and his banning procedure though that it is becoming a lost cause. Come on Snuggly get deleting and get BANNING :D

I only ever reported once. A 'Lust arrived' went into the Life, the universe and all that Jazz (as was in back in the day) and he went into my thread and individually posted the alphabet, and so, through fear not looking cool like him, i reported him. 30 minutes later a staffie answerd my prayer and he was no more...

I thought you were only supposed to report posts for offensive content. I reported Top Score once. And Goatboy once, but thats it.

If they are junk, or advertisement, or contain rude material then yes it is a good idea to report them.
You are not being a snitch, you are just helping the forums to be a better place for all...
