But we got a nice short clip of Metroid Prime 2 and there were no signs of Zelda... we feared they have evolved into the 2 Gamecube spin off titles... no sign of Mario 128 and all 3 Pokemon "Games" appear like further spin off trollop. At least the GBA had a good show with a promising Paper Mario esq. RPG game, a new Metroid title and at last a Mario Advance game that actually has extras over the predecessor it mimicks.
And yet in the last few days we get news that The Wind Waker sequel will have cel-shaded graphics with a playable version due at next years show, that there could be a fully fledged Pokemon RPG on the horizon... Nintendo's plans to unleash some killer aps (proper killer aps as in GTA beaters) at next years E3 and even some proper comments about Nintendo's move into online gaming with possible free subscription...
Now why didn't we get that at E3... then we wouldn't get as many complaints.

Sales have dropped again... they pick up for a week then die... for sales to do dramatically well there needs to be a killer app every week.
Or at least an exclusive Sims and Metal Gear Solid game.......
Oh wait.
There seem to be a lot of conflicting opinions about it...
Show loads of footage and demos of the upcoming brilliant games, but no announcments.
Then over the next few weeks announce some big surprises to keep 'Nintendo' in everyone's head.
None of the announcements have had a big impact on their own, and we had pleanty of smaller things from the E3 event anyway.
"What the new handheld they didn't actually show anything of?"
Made me giggle.
The 2 Zelda games were a surprise to me... glad they are just selling the connectivity idea (like the cool sounding Pacman) and not replacing the Wind Waker sequel.
Sony pulled the only suprise out of the bag, and even so, we all knew it was going to happen some time.
